STARTIME STALWART JOINS FIRE SERVICE

Startime variety member Jason Lowe aged 37 of Oldbury Has recently completed Fire-fighter training at the West Midlands Fire Service Training Centre Smethwick and has been posted to Dudley fire station.
Jason is married to Michelle, Startime’s choreographer. They have two daughters Chloe aged 10 and Abbie-mae aged 4.
Also featured in the picture are Kevin Griffiths, Michelle’s Brother and Tina Chester also choreographer with Startime. Kevin is a Watch Commander at Cradley Heath Fire Station.
Jason will once again be “treading the boards” with the backstage crew during Startime's 2009 Panto “The True Story of Sleeping Beauty”, while Michelle will be leading the dancers.
The Pantomime is an adaptation of the original story, written and produced by Mike Clifford and will be a very upbeat production featuring modern songs lots of comedy and a surprise twist at the end.
“The True Story of Sleeping Beauty” is at the Cornbow Hall Halesowen and runs from Saturday 31st January to Saturday 7th February.
Once again donations from the proceeds will be presented to local charities.This year the local charity was Guide Dogs for the Blind.
